To provide fun and friendly first aid training to families and expectant parents as well as school children.

by Emma Gayle in Wigan, England, United Kingdom

I am a mother of three that previously trained as a nurse until taking care of young children one with additional needs meant the pressure of the constant changing shifts wasn't any longer viable.

I love everything about care and providing worthwhile services to the public that can potentially save numerous lives from a short cost effective class. I want to offer fun and fear-free first aid courses designed specifically for parents and those who care for children as well as children themselves. In a two hour class, that will take place in the persons own home or a local venue, the world of emergency first aid unfolds, as parents, grandparents and care givers interact and learn the skills they need to save a life and to treat the most common accidents and emergencies.

Children should be given the best possible chance to live long and successful lives , unfortunately as first aid isn't easily accessible to parents unless you pay for a full course aimed more at businesses. This means when an emergency situation occurs a lot of people , simply do not know how to help.

We want to provide our local community with these valuable skills to really make a difference. Offering sessions to expectant parents , families , schools and local groups.
