I am a 40 yr old Mum of two children aged 10 and 14. I used yoga to self-heal and relieve depression. I qualified as a yoga teacher 5 yrs ago, to help others do the same and have since gone on to run numerous classes, workshops and events. I also wrote a children's mindfulness journal that has been used throughout schools and sold via Amazon.
My aim is to get more children working with mindfulness and movement in their every day. Now more than ever is the need for children to be involved in seeing the world around them, the beauty in every day and to use their bodies in creative ways. With many people having to self isolate and scared to take part in classes and events, I want to reach people in their schools and homes.
I have created the attached video as a basis for what I am looking to create. I want to take children on adventures and introduce them to mindfulness techniques when looking at the World around them. Not only improving mental health and wellbeing but also using movement to improve body mobility, flexibility and strength.
