In August 2021, Expedia Group raised over $10 million to support UNICEF’s global COVID-19 response in an effort to help re-open the world, one trip and one jab at a time. Now Expedia Group and its family of brands – including Expedia®, Hotels.com®, Vrbo®, Orbitz®, Travelocity®, Hotwire®, ebookers® and CheapTickets® are calling on their customers to continue supporting UNICEF and help End The Pandemic through the safe and equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccines and more. In 2021 we’re aiming for 2 billion doses and we still need support. Please donate today.

UNICEF is ensuring no one is left behind in the race to vaccinate against COVID-19. Equitable vaccine distribution is only fair, and it’s in everyone’s interest. No one is safe until everyone is safe. UNICEF needs your help to deliver 2 billion vaccines, 5.6 million tests and 5.5 million treatments around the world this year.

UNICEF is one of the only global organisations equipped to deliver an operation of this size. They are the world’s largest vaccine buyer. They have more than 70 years’ experience and are on the ground in more than 190 countries. They help vaccinate almost half the world’s children against preventable diseases. They travel to some of the most remote places on earth to deliver nearly 2 billion doses of life-saving vaccines every year. That’s why we’re supporting them in this huge endeavour.

Donations made to UNICEF’s VaccinAid appeal will go towards UNICEF’s work to purchase and deliver Covid-19 vaccines, tests and treatment to bring an end to the pandemic. In the unlikely event that the funds raised exceed UNICEF’s funding requirements for this appeal, your donation will go towards the Children’s Emergency Fund.
