Renowned local musician, Ewen Ritchie, has been entertaining his social media followers with beautiful piano 'ditties' during lockdown over the past few months. As he approaches his 100th (and final!) consecutive day of performance, he wants to ask his followers to make a donation to support the ongoing survival of local arts charity Aberdeen Performing Arts.
Aberdeen Performing Arts is a cultural hub in the North-east of Scotland, which runs His Majesty's Theatre, the Music Hall and the Lemon Tree, produces three festivals, an extensive creative learning and outreach programme, its own producing company Freshly Squeezed Productions, and a major food and beverage business. The immediate closure of its venues in March and the consequential loss of almost 90% of its impact, has had a serious impact on the organisation.
Please give whatever you can to help support the work of Aberdeen Performing Arts, and help ensure that these much loved venues and the important work undertaken, can continue and thrive.
