Our Production of The Lord of the Flies:
A plane carrying a group of evacuated school children lands on a deserted island. The eleven girls and boys that survive are faced with the challenge of co-existing in a hostile environment severed from the society they have left behind. Can the children create something better than the war that drove them from their homes, or will the inevitability of human behaviour bind them to the mistakes of the adult world they were raised in?
Our performance dates are 16th-19th January 2019. Keep your eye out for updates on ticket sales on our social media.
You can buy tickets from the Northcott Theatre website:

Where Your Money Will Go:
There are lots of different costs we need to cover, from venue and technical equipment hire to performance rights and marketing expenditure. We want to be as transparent as possible, therefore, we have included a detailed breakdown of projected income and expenditure below:
We are committed to making the most of all the money we receive from public donations for Lord of the Flies. This crowdfunder makes up just a small part of the money we are aiming to raise. In addition to this crowdfunder, we dedicate the months of September to January as fundraising for our production, holding events such as cake sales, games nights, pub quizzes and raffles.
A Bit About EUTCo:
Exeter University Theatre Company, fondly known as EUTCo, is one of the
largest and longest running theatre societies at the university. Our goal is to
get students involved in directing, producing, stage management, technical
management and performing professional quality drama. The society provides a
platform to produce innovative and high quality student theatre, in an effort
to entertain and inspire the rest of the student body and the larger community
Our Previous Productions:
In the past four years, EUTCo have produced a diverse range of productions at the Exeter Northcott Theare. These include, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (2015) for which EUTCo was nominated for Best Student Led Project, Angels in America (2016), Animal Farm (2017), and most recently A Clockwork Orange (2018).
