Equipment Storage Sheds/Containers

Equipment Storage Sheds/Containers

We desperately need addtional storage for rugby equipment due to the increasing size of our mini/junior section.

We did it!

On 23rd Jun 2017 we successfully raised £2,445 of £2,000 target with 73 supporters in 39 days

Our Senior section has been hugely successful over recent seasons acheiving back to back promotions and will play its rugby in the heady heights of North One East next season. We are also National Champions for the 2nd year running having won the RFU Intermediate Cup at Twickenham on the 6th May.  Our 2nd XV have also been succesful winning the Nortrhern Championship Merit League we have also  had success in relaunching our 3rd XV/Vets team who play their matches on a Friday evening which has been a great way to get back into rugby.

Our Junior and mini section is rapidly expanding and we have rugby available for ages 4 to 17 which is a fantastic success from when we relaunched just 5 years ago. We have also just launched our girls project and are very close to getting an U15 team which would be brilliant.  Much of this is due to our excellent volunteers and also the work of our very own Community Coach who visits local schools and also runs holiday clubs etc.

We currently have just a single garage for the storage of all the clubs rugby equipment. This garage leaks and is too small for all the equiment needed to run a fast growing rugby club. Ideally we need three 20'x 10' sheds/containers to store the equipment in to keep it safe and sound. To do this we need to take down and clear the area at the side of the garage, provide a level surface of gravel and then purchase, erect and paint the sheds/containers to make them look attractive to our neighbours etc.

Should we raise enough funds we also want to improve facilities for our fantastic supporters by building terracing, provide paths and improving catering facilities.

Our incredible 1stXV National Champions!! for the 2nd year running and promoted to North One (Level 6) for the first time the Clubs history to become the premier club in Leeds.
