Equipment for Charity Trek
We did it
On 16th November 2018 we successfully raised £10 with 1 supporters in 56 days

The project is to raise funds to buy the equipment needed to complete treks to raise money for charity.

The idea behind this project is to raise money to buy the equipment I will need to complete a series of treks around the UK over the coming years. Each trek is to raise funds for various charities.

The first trek planned is along the entire length of the Cotswold Way, which is about 102 miles. I plan to do this across 4 days, starting at Chipping Camden in the north of the Cotswolds and finishing in Bath. The charities I have chosen to raise funds for on this particular trek are:-

I have given myself a good amount of time to try and raise the funds as I do not plan to start the trek until 20 September 2019.

After this trek, I hope to complete further treks along the Hadrian's Wall Path (84 miles), The Ridgeway (87 miles), Offa's Dyke Path (177 miles) and one in Scotland, possibly the Great Glen Way (73 miles). I might also just continue to complete other treks but at the moment, I am set on doing 5.

For each of the treks, I hope to be able to provide a live GPS location and put this on a Facebook page. I also hope to use an action camera and upload footage each evening.

Got an idea like this?
