This £5 donation was from Glenn who works with me in a project in Devon. He placed it in his Christmas Card!

To be honest, I think this should be provided along with free school meals for children who need it, maybe after the autumn term break (so it still fits when it's needed). But until then, let's get those children cloaked and shod for a good winter walk!

This is one probably the most important thing to see to, following good nutrition. If you can afford good outdoor clothing for yourself, please consider helping a child to learn to love a rain walk.

Warm and waterproof clothes are so important for exploring and shouldn’t be a barrier to participation! Thank you for doing this!

Brilliant idea - Having been involved with taking children out hill walking, supporting them in outdoor pursuits and assisting children completing the expedition aspect of their D of E award when teaching I know what a positive impact being outdoors can have on children. All children should have the opportunity to experience the outdoors and nature first hand.

My minded children love nothing better than sliding on mudslides and splashing in puddles. Everyone deserves a childhood filled with fun, laughter and muddy puddles. Xx

There’s nothing like the joy of splashing through puddles in your wellies and running wild in outdoor play. Let’s make it happen for every child.
