- My rescue cat Splodge suddenly became ill yesterday, his breathing was very laboured and he was lethargic. So rushed him to an emergency vets. While there he's had an x Ray and he's having a heart scan today, he's had medication while staying overnight. He's inproved overnight, but fees are raising all the time. He will need a blood test at some point. Don't know what's caused it yet until he's had his heart scan this afternoon.

He's not eating and he's very quite, when I got in from work gave him a cuddle and laid him on the settee next to me and a few minutes later he came over to me and laid down next to me, my mum went and got me some chicken and he looked interested he managed to have a little bit.

Splodge his still very quiet and not eating. Phoned my normal vets and told me to bring him in tomorrow. After that tried thinking of a food to give him, then remembered I had some chicken yoghurt treats for cats, so tried that and he had little bit of that. A couple of hrs after i tried him with some more and he ate that, i'm just hoping this is the start of him eating.
