COVID-19 has decimated our income but we still need to invest in our facilities to ensure Hullensians has a sustainable future post COVID-19
by Hullensians Rugby Club in Hull, England, United Kingdom
I have been introduced to Mark Stutely by a mutual business colleague and heard of the Hullensians crowd funding for the pitch improvements. As a player in a previous life, all be it for another club, I fully understand the need to keep improving the club facilities and lets face it, without the pitches there is no Rugby Club and without the Club there is no community. Furthermore I have been humbled by the clubs charitable engagement with the wider community, its grassroots development and dedicated supporters and volunteers. We are all having to live in challenging times because of the current Pandemic and many people, business and organisations are struggling to survive. My company has been one of the fortunate few and have been able to continue working on major projects, whilst remaining profitable and able to continue to grow in these difficult times and it gives me great pleasure to be able to offer a little financial support to a (literally) game changing project. I would also like to applaud the senior players and colts who have risen to the Hullensians Ironman Challenge.
