Thank you for visiting my funding page and supporting my Danceathon, which will be taking place:
Sunday 25th October 2020: 2pm - 6pm
I am aiming to raise £100 to support the work of two amazing charities: Domestic Violence UK and The National Autistic Society.
Domestic Violence UK is only a small charity, but it does really important work, trying to help and protect people who suffer from violence and abuse in their own homes - the very places where they should feel safe. Unfortunately, the charity have been especially busy during lockdown. Whilst I am not personally aware of anybody affected by domestic violence, sadly that chances are that someone, you or I know, is suffering. I feel this charity deserves more recognition and would love to help the work they do as much as possible.
The National Autistic Society its a charity very close to my heart. A few of my good friends are on the autistic spectrum and I also spend time with and supporting pupils with autism in my school. I feel lucky to know and have them as friends, and I wouldn't change them for the world. People with autism need better understanding and support, but often also have amazing skills and abilities because of the way their minds work a bit differently. Being able to raise money for this charity through my danceathon will mean a lot to me and many of the people I know..
It would be great to have your support and any donations you are able to make, no matter what value, are appreciated and will mean a great deal to me and the charities.
The money raised will be split equally between the two charities.**
**I am using Crowdfunder as 100% of the money I raise, can be donated to the charities, where some other funding pages deduct fees from the total amounts raised. As I am raising money for two separate charities, it is not possible for the money raised to be transfered directly to the charities from this page. Instead, once the fundraiser is closed, the total amount donations on this Crowdfunder page will be transfered to my Dad's bank account - he will then make donations directly to the charities from his bank account on my behalf.
