Elect Amelia Womack in Newport West

by Gwent Green Party in Newport, Wales, United Kingdom

We did it
On 28th March 2019 we successfully raised £2,269 with 73 supporters in 20 days

Amelia Womack, Green Party Deputy Leader, to win the Newport West by-election on 4th April and join Caroline Lucas MP in the UK Parliament

by Gwent Green Party in Newport, Wales, United Kingdom

Thank you all so much

Thanks to your generous support we are fighting hard in Newport West. Eleven candidates are standing, some of whom are pushing a far right anti-EU and xenophobic agenda (one of whom was shouted down at the hustings on Thursday). They all seem to have money to burn, which is why your support is so important.

You have paid for the 45,000 freepost leaflets that have landed on the doormats of voters across the constituency. You have also funded the cards and leaflets that our volunteers from across the country are using when canvassing door to door.

We have now reached our initial fundraising target which covers our essential costs. However, we would like to keep the appeal open to help pay for more materials and to promote some social media posts in the final days of the campaign. Please give more if you can, and share this appeal with your friends and family.

Thank you.
