Following the success of our Jubilee playground crowdfunder, we are now accepting ongoing donations of support.

As many of you will know the Jubilee Playground was successfully built during the summer holidays and the children have been able to use it since September. It has provided the KS2 children with much more space and choice, with the original KS2 playground for imaginative play and sport, whilst the Jubilee is a quieter space. With the stretch funding money and financial support from local councillor Vivien Pengelly we have been able to buy benches for the Jubilee playground. The children have enjoyed playing chess, cards, colouring, top trumps etc on the new benches; giving them the opportunity to move away from the more physical games whenever they choose to, for a quieter activity. The teachers tell us that behaviour has improved and that the new playground has made a massive, positive difference. We will continue to fundraise as a PTA so that we can further improve the school's outside play areas, but we are so pleased that this campaign was a success - thank you!
