What if you had never been raised in the Church? What if you had never known the peace and love of God? What if you had never learned anything about the faith, or if the little you had learned had taught you that God didn't exist, and that the Church was only a force for evil in the world?
That is the reality of perhaps the majority of students at the University of Edinburgh, and the situation that we are tackling head-on. But we need your help to do it.
We need funds for the website and online presence we are trying to create; we need funds for hospitality and outreach; we need funds for cameras and editing software for the apologetic videos we will be producing; we need funds for fliers and posters; we need funds for supporting students doing work in the community.
In short, we need funds so that we can do the work that God gas called us to, and to reach out and serve the students and staff of the University of Edinburgh
Over and above any activities we will be undertaking, however, we need funds so that the message that God has for students and staff will be heard loud and clear: that you have a beauty that is more than skin deep; that you have a worth that is more than your career or your bank balance; that your life has greater meaning than the unremarkable truths that you’ve been taught since birth. You were created for a purpose, and there is a new community in which you can love and be loved for who you are, and be set free to live and serve in Christ, He who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
