To raise funds to go to Ed Fringe to do a one man show and also a night time show. Spread laughter and smiles.

by Eddie John Fortune in Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom

To go the almighty Ed Fringe. Last year I was managed out of a job, and not been able to get the same type of pay since. Hence me trying for this ambitious project to help raise funds for the fringe/be able to eat beans down there.

I aim to do a one man show, that I have been working on and in continuous debt from, furthermore a possible other event dependant on audition. In order to do this, I need to raise cash/deposit soon to go. Hopefully all the people I have entertained and seen my comedy for free and enjoyed the smiles, laughter and cringe worthy jokes will see this a positive step.

Profits however unlikely after breaking even, will be going to a homeless charity. As I don't want this project to be about money, just the performance down there itself.

There may be controversy about raising money for the fringe, so be British and moan behind my back and be polite online and in person: D

Anyway, if I don't try for this and risk failure, I will never know. If not, I will endeavour for next year and wait for my time to come. I am sitting in my gown eating peanut butter feeling great trepidation about going live with this.

Much Love

Eddie x
