New stretch target

To bring plastic free products to you by starting a zero waste shop in Penrith.

It will reduce how much of a business loan we need and therefore allow us more flexibility to get in new products in response to what you want to see.
I have a vision to open a plastic free shop in Penrith. Online I stock cloth nappies, corn starch toothbrushes, wax wraps for covering food, cloth sanitary pads, and stainless steel straws and drink bottles. My current customers would love to see me expand and have presence on the high street. I could offer dry food produce in a weigh and save style saving on plastic packaging. But as a busy family of 5 with little disposable income an expansion like this is not possible.
Most people like to see what they’re buying before they go ahead with a purchase and I’d love to offer nappy demonstrations in the shop and chat about your journey to low-zero waste. Everyone knows what single use plastics are doing to our planet and I’m just one person who wants to help others make a difference.
I’m asking for £3,000 which will cover some rent on a small shop front in Penrith, kit it out with the equipment I need and buy in some new stock in response to what people need in Penrith. I can not afford to do this without the crowd funding so this is an all or nothing plea to start something special in your community.
If each of my Facebook followers pledged £10, we would smash the target. I also have gifts based on the size of pledge you can make. By even the smallest amount would help us on this journey.
