Excerpt of Echoes of Winter
The two wolves and wolf-dog nodded silently, Draven standing over Tikaani and snarling unheard warnings and curses into her ear so as not to let the two females be hurt. They lapped gently enough at the wounds, the blood drying on them and soon wrinkled free of her fur. Convel winced as the damage to her eyes was revealed. Gone were the pretty gold eyes that had once captured his attention and held him hostage. Gone were the eyes of a huntress, in her prime and ready to become a mother and Alpha to the pack.
A beautiful book deserves to launch with a bang! Pledge now to support the launch of my debut novel, "Echoes of Winter," and receive all the fun schwag.
This will be used in order to have special bookmarks, stickers, key rings, badges, mouse-mats, and more made for the amazing launch I have coming this year. I’m managing on the promotional side of things, but the more money I can raise, the better rewards for everyone who donates.
Without the promotional aids there will be only a minor buzz about the launch – even more so considering that my book will be one of a four-part series all set in the same place. I have lived for writing this book, nights of no sleep, nights where characters have come through and nagged at me to carry on writing when I wanted to stop.
I’ve gone without trips out to see people, meals at times (when I’ve been so stuck in writing) and more fun than I could ever imagine in writing the lives of nearly 50 characters, in which I’ve also immortalized my first writing companion – my Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Gypsi, who died two years ago before her 5th birthday.
I’m not asking for donations without rewarding anyone – the more people donate, the more prizes they will be sent to show how thankful I am at being given the chance to make my first book launch as amazing as it can be.
The rewards I will be offering are going to be unusual, something which I hope will attract attention into my novel and mean that people can understand just how deeply I want Echoes of Winter to be a success. Depending on how much is donated will actually show just what I will be able to offer people.
