Hello and thank you for taking your time to look at my page. My son is a victim to symptom called EB
This is our happy, funny, 10 month old. Who is the most bravest, strongest little boy! He may just seem like a 'normal' baby to most but he is fighting a rare condition.
What is EB?
Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a group of genetic skin conditions that cause the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch.
Those born with EB have skin so fragile they are called 'butterfly children' – their skin is quite simply as fragile as the wing of a butterfly.
As an inherited disorder with no cure, epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a lifelong condition. Although its severity does vary from person to person, every child born with EB will face challenges that affect every aspect of life, including the family’s life. As a child grows the family will face not only physical challenges but often financial, social, and emotional challenges too. A support network is vital for a family affected by EB to survive and thrive.
The only thing I can ask for is to give him the best life he could wish for. Thank you for your time and help. The knight family
