I left School with just below average grades but enough to get me into college. A musician at heart I studied as hard as I could I am dyslexic with makes life hard. leaving college I continued with a degree in music and achieved a 2:1. After 2 redundancies one as a secondary school teacher and the other as a technician at a land Rover main dealer all before the age of 24 I decided to start my own company.
JLR Services was born out of my passion for Land Rovers, having rebuilt an old Land Rover with my father at the age of 15. I was now on the road to starting my own business doing exactly that rebuilding, repairing and customising Land Rovers its my passion and I love it, I have designed conversions and components that are unique to me and offer services others don't . My love for this rust buckets came from my former scout leader and I have fond memories of riding up to the moors in the back of an old Land Rover with my friends. To this day I still do this as a Scout leader, but instead it is me driving them to the moors in the back of mine .
I have always had the vision to improve my business but i currently lack the funding to do this, as my work load has had to decrease in the past 9 months due to a spinal injury which without finances I am unable to fit my 4 post, my doors and my electrics to my workshop all these things will allow me to be able to work again as I am almost unable to continue working on my back on the ground. I have never borrowed to start my business. I have specialist tools, a 20x30 workshop I have built myself to save money.
My main view is helping people. I love these vehicles and people see this on a daily basis. It would be great if someone could help me with this.
