Wonderful to see the gaining traction of initiatives to restore our lost natural heritage and species to our nature-depleted landscape. A Welsh landscape with soaring eagles back where they belong will be all the richer for it.

Brian Jones 1st November 2020

I really hope this research is successful and that, in the not to distant future, there will be an Eagle reintroduction into Wales.

Roland Pitts 1st November 2020

I hope you will succeed in restablishing eagles in Wales in my lifetime and that they will spread across Wales and England thus undoing many years of persecution.

Rob Stratton 28th October 2020

Fantastic project. If of interest, you might like to offer a talk to Glamorgan Bird Club, They are now doing monthly Zoom talks. Last one was attended by around 40 members.

Jeremy Williams 25th October 2020

I remember walking outside Tregaron when a boy looking for red kites when they were rare. It would be lovely to see Golden Eagles soaring above the Cambrian mountains as well.

Emma Phillips 18th October 2020

We'd love to see both Golden Eagles and White-Tailed Eagles back in the wild here in Wales. We are looking forward to the day that happens. Thank you for all the hard work and the recent webinar was interesting and informative. The Phillips Family

Michelle Meredith 15th October 2020

After watching the display at my recent visit and listening to the information given by the clever young woman on the microphone. It would be a fantastic idea if given a chance

Simon Dures 15th October 2020

I know there isn't long left, but I really hope this gets funded. Even if not, I would love to help the project by making a video of your proposal for you (for free of course!). I am not a pro, but you can have a look at some of what I have done on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ3SmbKg8Y8dwSaq4p0JVBw?view_as=subscriber). Good luck! Simon

The Return of the Eagle to Wales is a Great Idea ,they belong here amongst the mountains , part of wales Natural heritage .Of course they should be here just as in Scotland ! & a fantastic draw for tourism too.

Kevin Jones 14th October 2020

The Osprey reintroduction project in the Glasfryn has demonstrated how reintroduction programs, if done properly, can be a success. It is idiotic that in a place called "Eryri", the literal meaning of which translates to "the land of the Eagle" that they are absent. Even the official flag of Caernarfonshire depicts the three golden eagles of 12th century King Owain Gwynedd. This project is therefore not only important in terms of rediscovering our heritage, but will also play an important ecological role in restoring our upland habitats. Good luck...
