A couple of years ago I was out with a group of friends. We stumbled across a local pub and called in for a drink or two. We decided to stay and watch the football that was on. A short time later we were hearing music from the back room. It was a night for people with special needs and disabilities hosted by the pub in conjunction with some community nurses.
As I have two relatives and several friends with disabilities I started to ask questions about the event. It was a one off but a huge success for both the pub and the people enjoying a rare night out.
After several conversations with friends, nurses, pub landlords and people with various forms of disabilities I decided to set up e-quality, a social platform with a subscribed membership to offer a variety of services.
It is quite simple a great idea with a global market, good value and an opportunity to better peoples lives and offer something not available anywhere else.
E-quality is not a traditional dating site. It is a social platform for people with special needs and disabilities.
Although the idea was created before we had ever heard of Covid-19 the method and ethos of the business remains the same. We are looking to use the investment to fund the back up and staff meaning we can offer 3 months free membership whilst we launch and attract members.
We offer to our members Regular updates from trained members of staff.
Opportunities to have days out and experiencing different life opportunities.
Evenings out meeting new friends.
Opportunities to meet people from all over the world sharing similar experiences.
Working in partnership with holiday camps and daily outdoor activities
Chatrooms and forums to express themselves.
Courses and exercises. (from online Personal Trainers to quizzes and educational activities)
Shops for discounted items via advertisement on site and discount cards.
Support outside of the day to day routine.
Discount cards for days out and places to eat.
We currently have a marketer and web developer working hard to complete in the next week or so. We also have many carers eagerly waiting for the launch of site.
