Dundonald Ice Skating Club

We are raising funds to help with the cost of providing weekly ice time to our club members.

We did it
On 30th March 2018 we successfully raised £10 with 1 supporters in 56 days

We are trying to raise funds to help towards the cost of private ice hire for our members. This time is invaluable to our members as it allows then the freedom to practice routines jumps spins etc which they can't do properly on public skating sessions. We would like to be in a position to block book our ice time as this would mean a significant cost saving to the club each month.

Dundonald Ice Skating Club is a non profit organisation which has been running for 30 years. The club hires the ice for 2 hours per week to provide figure skating lessons, competitions and shows for all of our members. The club aims to put on 2 competitions per year together with a Christmas performance. The cost of staging these competitions and shows is increasing each year and as a committee we try not to ask the members to cover these additional costs.
We also have many skaters who travel to mainland UK and further afield to compete.  The main aim of the club is to develop our skaters with the help of the Coaching Team to progress through the National Ice Skating Association of GB & NI assessments and tests.
We currently have 60-70 skaters on the ice each week with our youngest skater aged just 4 and 6 coaches. The club is like a family with the older more experienced skaters always ready to help out with our beginners.
