Duncan Adrift

Fundraising for remaining essential equipment for my solo-row across The Atlantic from New York to Lochinver to raise money for WaterAid.

We did it!

On 18th Jan 2018 we successfully raised £6,880 of £5,900 target with 65 supporters in 56 days

In 2018, Duncan embarks on what will undoubtedly be the toughest challenge of his life. For WaterAid, he aims to complete a 3,500 mile solo-row across the North Atlantic Ocean from New York to his home village of Lochinver, Scotland, in a self-built, clinker style skiff, converted for ocean rowing.

The boat is complete, sea tests have begun, training is well underway, and already, thousands of pounds have been spent by Duncan and his family to get to this stage. We hope that this Crowdfunding campaign will encourage peope to connect with Duncan's passion for WaterAid and adventure!

In order to make this feat possible, we need to raise the required funds to buy the remaining essential pieces of equipment which will keep Duncan safe and maximise the contribution DuncanAdrift can make to WaterAid.
