It's over !! Thank you so much to everyone who pledged, I raised £440 of a £1000 target which is great because it means at least I can get the printer which is the main thing. I will do the prize draw next week and once my exhibition is over (see my Twitter or Instagram for details, 4th-10th July) I will get the printer and start organising the prints you all pledged for !!! Exciting to be backed and thank you for your support xxx

I make art that expresses an emotion, thought or feeling. I want to create affordable and collectable art, making bare walls happy.
I love seeing my work appreciated and going to new homes, but I would love to be able to produce prints of my work for people who want to own a particular picture or to start collecting art who don't have funds to buy or commission an original piece.
I am always being asked if I do prints, can I do prints ? will this be available as a print ? and I have tried producing prints via various outlets but it is time consuming, expensive and difficult to produce just a few up to my standard.
The main problem the main problem I had was with the quality. The colour would be wrong, the contrast too much or not enough, lack of detail and unable to scan A3 pictures in colour, most of the time I could only get decent prints if a certain member of staff was in that day.
So I would like to raise enough funds to...
* Invest in a professional A3 scanner and an A3 printer.
* Stock up on high quality archival papers with various finishes and inks required.
* Hire a photographer to take the correct images of my larger artworks/ paintings that can be transformed into prints too.
Having my own printing facility means I will be able to control the quality and produce prints as and when requested in the correct colour, detail, size and finish.
Having a photographer to capture my work means that the larger pictures/ paintings can be turned into prints too as they are too big to scan.
I want to make my Art affordable and collectable.
Here are some examples of my work. Most are created with coloured pencil and in some I have also used ink, pastel and watercolour. I use many different materials, have different styles according to the medium I use and can work in a variety of sizes.
There is not a set group of items to show here as some of the rewards are random selections with your choice of theme/subject. These picures are an example/ guide of these items. With the rewards that say a random selection of prints I wouldn't be adverse to a little suggestion of what specific ones you might like within each theme.
For those who are unfamiliar with UK A sizes, here is a useful approximate guide...
Postcard size - A6 - 4 x 6 inches approx
A5 - 6 x 8 1/4 inches approx
A4 - 8 1/4 x 11 1/5 inches approx
A3 - 11 1/2 x 16 1/2 inches approx
A2 - 16 1/2 x 23 1/2 inches approx
For support from £1-£5 a thank you very much for supporting my project and hopefully you will be collectors of my pieces in the future with a mention on my website.
Other rewards are original artworks which will also be of your choosing. We will organise that through email etc It can be motorsport based, one of your own pictures (quality dependent) a pet portrait, something abstract or nature/ botanical based etc your choice (as long as it's rated PG !!)

Some of the current work I am creating will also be available as an option so, I will create a section on my website where you can see the themes and the images you can choose from for the prints you want to receive for your reward.

Thanks for looking through this project, I really enjoy what I do and this is reflected in all my work.
Risks and challenges
The risk is if I can't raise all the money then I can't go forward with this project, and it will take a couple of years or so to try and do it myself. My computer broke on the 1st January and I'm still trying to save up to get that fixed. I'm currently working on images for my exhibition some of which will be available under the prints rewards, this is mentioned in the relevant rewards. If I raise the money then I will be organised in the delivery of rewards, I'm good at what I do and am confident of getting the rewards out by each deadline, the original art rewards will need a little sorting out with each person to make sure I have enough information to complete the image requested.
