The Master Plan
Our plan is to open a dog cafe and shop in Denton, Manchester.
Our cafe will provide a comfortable and welcoming place for people to come with their dogs. The cafe will have a human food and drink menu but it will also have a dog menu as well where dogs can have delicious food alongside their humans.
The shop will sell cat and dog themed items for the animal obsessed and will also double up as a small pet shop selling top quality cat and dog toys, food and home made treats. One of the things we're very keen to do is to invest in people who create cat and dog items and give them a place to sell. We value hand made items having being card and print designers for a long time now and we want to encourage growth within the handmade market.
We want the cafe and shop to become a hub of dog activity and plan to run events for the local community as well as provide a base for our pet care services.
The Future
We hope to be able to provide jobs in the local area both in retail, hospitality and animal care (the other side to the business is a successful pet care business) and in the future, open an additional premises as a doggy day care to enable us to provide apprenticeship opportunities for young people.
Money and rewards
Currently the property we are looking to let is just a shop, the money raised will allow us to fit a kitchen which means we'll be able to offer more homemade tasty treats for you and your pooch. And who doesn't love something homemade!?
