Our Vision

A newly founded Sunday League football team with a great diversity of nationalities, age groups and characters in our club; we are Docklands Albion FC. Here at Docklands Albion, we are extremely proud to say that we are very much commited towards the local community, which is why we have opened two teams; the first being a men's team and the second being an under 16's team.

At Docklands Albion, we have developed an ethos that all our players are working towards, and that is to be great sportsmen, ambassadors and leaders in a sport which people globally are passionate and dedicated to. This then makes for better management and encourages football to be played and watched as beautifully as it should.

This will be our first season playing together for both our age groups, and in particular, this is a massive opportunity for the mens team, for they will be competing in the illustrious Essex Sunday Corinthians Football League. The fact that such a well established league has welcomed us into the top tier of their league speaks with much volume to the hard work and commitment that both the players and management have made towards making this club more than just another Sunday league football team. Similarly, the Under 16's will be competing in the ELE Youth League, another well established league in East London which kicks off at the end of September.

Docklands Albion FC is not only a team but we are a family and we promote and see ourselves as a 'Band of Brothers' on and off the field. Hard work and dedication has helped us progress more than expected in the past few months since we were founded in March 2016, guided by a staff of 3 first team FA qualified Coaches and a Manager with more than 10 years in the football scene.

We are seeking funds to help us acquire away kits and pay for a good standard training base for both the Under 16's and Adult team to use. We at Docklands Albion understand how important it is for the local community to feel included and a part of such a big project happening. Therefore helping us in providing people in this community with something to show them that they too are important and not forgotten is very important to us, and we wish to do more to bring the team together closer with them. Hence the reason why we are also planning community events for young kids through the course of the season to get everyone involved and a way to say thank you.

Your contributions to this will go a long way and will be highly regarded within our Club and the people around the areas of Hackney and Beckton; where most of our work is being done.

Finally, I would like to thank you all for taking your time to read this and I hope you share the same vision as us at Docklands Albion. We believe in progression and change and if you believe like us you will forever remain part of the band of brother which is Docklands Albion FC.

Thank you!
