All Communities-All Genders-All Sexualities-All Ethnicities-All Ages-All Abilities-Altogether

Diversity Fest is a free, annual community arts festival.

We celebrate diversity through music, dance, spoken word, film and art.

Established in 2015, our fourth festival takes place on September the 30th, 2018.

The venue is Hagglers Corner, 586 Queens Road, Sheffield S2 4DU.

The 2017 festival showcased 37 acts over the 8 hour event.

Acts featured people from a range of genders, sexualities, ethnicities, ages and abilities.

The Mary Seacole Stage featured dance (African, Kathak, Ragga, Belly); plus music: Samba, Iranian Blues, Bollywood, African drumming, Indian Classical, Folk, Rock, Pop.

The Jo Cox Stage featured Afrobeat, Polish Goth, Bluegrass, Indie, Jazz and Folk.

The Rosa Parks Stage featured Reggae, Americana, Classical, Folk, Rock and Pop.

All stages also featured spoken word slots (book reading, poetry, comedy and talks).

Over 100 volunteers performed in 37 acts across three stages (1 outdoor and 2 indoor).

Performers came from Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Leeds, Derby and London.

The 2017 festival was organised by a group of 16 volunteers.

We attracted an audience of approximately 400 people over the day.
