To improve The Marine Travel Ground, home to National 2 South team Canterbury Rugby, so that the whole community can have better access.

by Ian Lloyd in Canterbury

The Marine Travel Ground is home to National 2 South team, Canterbury Rugby Club, which has multiple teams, touch rugby, a growing ladies team and a league winning wheelchair rugby squad. For a few years we have described ourselves as being "OneClub" but the members of our community with disabilties are not able to fully access all of the grounds and clubhouse. This is why we will be working hard over the summer to improve walkways, build ramps and a viewing area for to allow wheelchair access and give everyone the chance to join in.We have a wonderful group of supporters, fans and members who we hope will help us to fund the last stage of our access plans. With your help work can start as soon as possible.
