Picture this....then help make it happen!
Goren Farm Wildflower Meadows in June, carpeted with indigenous wildflowers everywhere you look. Stunning views across the Corry Valley at sunset. A magical atmosphere as the insects buzz and the swallows swoop.
Meeting in the early evening under the giant lime tree for cocktails made with botanicals from the farm itself, you may choose to take a rejuvenating stroll through the meadows before dinner. A chance to shake off the stresses of the last year in a truly natural environment. A chance to breathe again.
Sitting in a warm and comfortable covered structure and enjoying 6 courses of delicately cooked produce from the farm itself and the locality, relax into an evening of fun and healthy decadence with like-minded people, far from the chaos of the day to day grind.
Who we are
The cooking and general restaurant experience is being overseen by Gideon Hitchin, ex chef patron of The Giant Club in nearby Axminster. His menus will be hyperlocal and include award winning wines, organic meats and cheeses and fish from the coast just a couple of miles away.
Goren Farm was given a commendation in Britain's Most Beautiful Farm Awards. The fields have been set to hay meadows for the last 30 years to develop a chemical free natural balance with nature.

In order to make this HAPPEN we need to raise a bit of money to update the infrastructure. This means updating a barn, procuring tables and chairs, creating some eco loos and generally making it nice for you, our guests!
These upgrades will not be forgotten about at the end of this programme of events. The money raised through Crowdfunder will be used to improve the infrastructure at the farm for a broad and long lasting benefit. Our community and visitors will have year-round compost toilet facilities, sunshades and weather protection. These improvements will not only support 'Breathe @ Goren', but will benefit young people with facilities to learn about nature and wildlife, plus the hundreds of visitors who come free of charge to the wild meadows each year.
If you value what we do, even if you can’t make it along this year, please give us a helping hand (however small) right now so that we can start getting it into shape...we’ve only got a few weeks before it starts! The reason it has to be in June is that’s when the meadows are at their peak. In July the flowers will all be harvested!
Our emphasis will be on excellence in the cooking, friendliness in the service and in creating a really enjoyable space and atmosphere for you to relax and enjoy yourselves in a beautiful, natural environment.
