Less Than A Week To Go!!
Thank you, everyone!!
Your donations and pledges so far have us well on our way to the target. At the time of writing this, we are at 60% and with just under a week to go the target is in sight.
Every penny that you put into this campaign will go on to benefit disabled young people and help them to discover their musical passion. This week I have been delivering Digit Music workshops at Ashfield Academy in Leicester where I worked with a group of 10 disabled musicians and their wonderful teaching staff. The group created an original piece of music and performed it live. Comments heard from students and teaching staff included...
'It is so easy to use' - Student
'I feel like I'm in the future' - Music Coordinator
'It moved me, as I have always known they have music in them, and now they can play' - Music Therapist
To really hammer home the benefits that you are supporting, here is one question from an interview with Jess Fisher before her BBC Introducing performance. Her full interview can be found on our YouTube channel.
Jess performed a perfect Audio Visual set in collaboration with Digit Music and Urban Projections. The project was commissioned by Inspire Youth Arts and Jess was lucky enough to be clothed in the new 'Adaptive' range from Tommy Hilfiger, which they sent all the way from New York for her to wear.
Her is a snippet of her new piece, entitled Magnetik.
We will continue to push and hope to reach the £7,500 target before the deadline this Monday at 5pm GMT.
Thanks again, everyone. Your support and wonderful comments mean the world ????
