Online sales are set to be the growth story into the future, with consumers purchasing more and more online. The continual growth story of digital devices, Smart Phones, Smart TVs and Tablets along with the development of faster connection speeds and social habits makes digital assets an inevitable future opportunity.
There is an ever increasing trend whereby consumers are purchsing 'Digital Assets' online, however they are not purchasing these assets in the conventional manner. In actual fact even though Google, Amazon and Apple clearly state 'buy' on the button that is clicked, deep in the Terms and Conditions the consumer is really leasing these 'Digital Assets'.
The consumer has no legal right to resell the asset in the future and in many cases must consume the asset in the appropriate platform and way detailed by the retailer ( Google, Amazon, Apple).
There seems to be a clear gap in the market here where:
a, Value is being denied to the consumer
b, Ease of use is being denied to the consumer
There is a huge opportunity to offer the consumer, both individuals and organisations a far better deal that is easier to consume and provides asset value in the resale of the 'digital asset'.
This first round of funding would be used to begin:
1, Research into the legal standpoint around reselling digital assets in the United States, UK and EU single market.
2, Plan a Proof Of Concept platform for purchase and resale of digital assets
3, Research and investigate potential suppliers of digital products
4, Register potential patent
