DIAL LEEDS was established by volunteers in 1979 as a small local Disabled People’s User Led Organisation (DPULO).
The charity’s work has its roots in the social model of disability and ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion. The aim is to achieve this through peer support where disabled people come together to support and provide services for other disabled people in a friendly, safe and positive environment.
The belief in rights, choices and opportunities for everyone as the way to independence is central to the DIAL LEEDS mission.
Brenda was a keen supporter of DIAL LEEDS. Her daughter, Emma has been a Management Committee member for many years.
It is Brenda’s wish to invite donations to DIAL LEEDS in lieu of flowers at her funeral to raise much needed funds. Please give a contribution if you can.
To boost Brenda’s fundraising efforts DIAL LEEDS has launched a giving campaign in her memory.
