With work disrupted by Covid, we need to manage a range of habitats on DWT nature reserves to benefit Devon's most threatened butterflies.
by Devon Wildlife Trust in Exeter, England, United Kingdom
I went to a wild flower meadow belonging to a friend of mine, and I saw a silver washed fritillary and a marbled white. As insecticides have reduced the number of butterflies and other insects, I feel it is vitally important that we protect them and give them a home. Much valuable work is being done by DWT and I want to support it.
If it's possible to enhance the beauty of Marsland then butterflies will certainly do that....they are wonderfully ethereal....lets increase the magic of the place by enticing more of them to live here and elsewhere. Thank you DWT for your continued work on behalf of these wonderful creatures.
