Hello! My name is Dawn and I am 23. This fund is to help me purchase an electric wheelchair so I can gain some mobility and independence for the first time in my life.
I have no family, friends or community to help me or help spread this page, so if you're reading this please share it!
I suffer with over 26 diagnosed conditions, most of which are genetic and have spent the first 16 out of my 23 years in and out of hospitals and clinics. Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Juvenile Arthritis, to name just a few. I struggle to mobilise and therefore can only leave my house once a month to visit my doctor. I spend most of my days in bed upstairs because of constant pain.

I qualify for NHS wheelchair funding, but as my home is too small to adapt for a chair and with me being physically unable to move house, the NHS cannot help me as they do not help with outdoor only chairs. I have tried various charities, but with no luck. I am on a low income, so saving up for a chair would be virtually impossible, and could take years. This chair is the cheapest I could find that met my requirements. This would mean quite literally the world to me and I would be incredibly grateful if you could help, or share this with your friends.
