It is great to see so many friends here, all contributing to the project! I just added one more share! I just felt I had to add that little bit more to this project. But my energy anyway is right behind it, you know that. And I do love helping people setting up Death Cafes in their local area, so the success of your project, Jon, is assured already. Brownie points in heaven for you for a global achievement! We'll see what happens next!

Financially I might not be the only one at a low ebb at this point in time. It is not a great time to start up a project in London as costs are phenomenally high now for setting up a small business here and and property prices are soaring. If the project does not come off as planned, I think there may be another way. Perhaps someone will provide an unusual space for a limited period? To create a meeting place for conversation, discussion events and film evenings, and of course actual, organised Death Cafe meetings would be wonderful. I'd love to run workshops there! So come on everyone, fingers crossed! xxx

Finally got round to buying a share. This is going to be a phenomenal journey Jon Death cafes make such a difference and are a great vehicle to help us as a society move forward with our conversations around death, dying and bereavement. See you on the opening night :)

Death Cafe is an incredible life-enhancing phenomenon. The very best of luck to you with raising enough money to realise this venture.

Fantastic initiative, Jon. I will send you and the project lots of energy in my meditation and visualize myself with family and friends having coffee and cake in London's own Death Cafe. Catherina

It's a tough challenge to raise what you need and I am inspired by these efforts. I am sure this will become a reality and if it needs to morph a bit then so be it. The objective of talking about death and the inclusion aspect get more important every day. I hope I can help beyond the small amount I can offer financially.

I totally support this project and the awesome death cafe movement. Thank you Jon for inviting us to share and support your death cafe dream. May the first permanent death cafe in London become a reality and a global inspiration for many more death conversations and cafes to follow.

Death Cafe has quite truly and profoundly changed my life, and I can't think of a cause I'd rather support. Thank you for all you've done and continue to do. So much. And good luck!

Good luck with this much needed project. We are presently making another documentary following the success of our previous films on grief and loss and hope to share our work via death cafes in 2016 www.beyondgoodbye.co.uk

As the facilitator of the Carmel Death Cafes here in Indiana, USA, I am right behind you, Jon, in backing this great project! And I intend to visit the Death in person when it's built to have a cup of tea and chat with fellow attendees. This is a wonderful project whose time has come! Good luck!

Jon, what a wonderful idea! I've just been reading the book Living Your Dying and then I saw this! Too much of a coincidence not to back you! Good luck!
