Dark Suit and Lavender Shirt, Standing - Edinburgh

To present Clearwater Collective's theatre production 'Dark Suit and Lavender Shirt, Standing' at the Edinburgh Fringe 2018

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

We are Clearwater Collective, a company of artists who create dynamic, intricate and eclectic new theatre.

With an unwavering commitment to clarity of action and gesture, we create refined and revolutionary performance to enlighten and engage.

Clearwater Collective have created this Crowdfunder page to take our new show 'Dark Suit and Lavender Shirt, Standing' to the Edinburgh Fringe 2018.

Set against the backdrop of fin-de-siécle Vienna, ’Dark Suit…’ is an atmospheric and affecting theatre production about the life of artist Egon Schiele. Presented through the lens of his relationships with partner Wally Neuzil and Mentor Gustav Klimt, it uses choreography, composition and projection to weave a nuanced narrative shot through with dark, decadent sexuality.

With an fantastic opportunity to present our production at ZOO Venues, Aviary from the 20th - 31st August we are keen to take advantage of this moment and tour our work to the largest arts festival in the world.

The proceeds from this campaign will go towards securing the deposit on the stage space for our run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year. Lauded by The Herald as "A Premiere Location for an International Programme of Dance and Physical Theatre" ZOO Venues provide a vibrant and dynamic platform for artists to display their work. As creators working in the field of movement theatre staging 'Dark Suit...' at ZOO this year will be an unparalleled experience, allowing  Clearwater Collective to develop new connections and engage a new audience.

All of your support is greatly appreciated and will bring us closer to realising this once in a lifetime goal!

Thank you
