How does a decision made on the 65th floor of a luxury riverside towerblock office affect a grandmother living on a housing estate in a rundown part of the city?
Written by award winning playwright, Mark Norfolk and shortlisted for the Alfred Fagon Award, Dare to Do is loosely based on the true story of the trader who in 2012, ran up the biggest debt in British banking history and who, incidentally, will be taking part in a Q&A with at the Space on 31 May.
Dare To Do opens on 29 May for a two week run at The Space, a small community theatre on the Isle Of Dogs and will be directed by leading classical actor and director, Jeffery Kissoon. A brilliant cast has been assembled with Jaye Ella-Ruth taking the lead in a spectacular vision of non gender specific casting as the Bear ably supported by Simon Blake as Jamieson, Rachel Summers as Melanie, Bruce Kitchener as Pepper and Carol Morgan as Mrs Baredi. The set is designed by Alfie Heywood, with lighting and sound by Chuma Emombolu and music compositions by Sebastian Russell, we are looking forward to bringing this exciting theatrical experience to life.
