On Saturday my flatmate Beth bet me I couldn’t go out and run 10k after months of not running. I said to her if ‘I go and run 10K will you run the Coventry half marathon with me in 3 weeks? ‘she agreed! One slow and sweaty 10k later I returned home to a surprised Beth and now we are running a half marathon together along with (potentially some other friends who we have roped into doing it with us).
I’m currently working as a social media assistant at the eternal wall of answered prayer. What is this ‘eternal wall’ you ask?
Well, Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer is a huge Christian landmark. It will sit in the heart of the UK by the end of 2023. The gigantic monument of hope will host a million accounts of answered prayer, making it the largest database of hope stories in the world.
In my personal life, I have seen the power of prayer! God does hear, listen, and answer our prayers, even if this answer isn’t what we always expect!
Eternal wall exists to point people to Jesus and the hope that can be found in him! If you know me, this is something I’m passionate about.
That’s why I’m running the Coventry half marathon and why I’m asking you to donate as much or as little as you can to this cause. If you want to make hope visible or if you just think I’m stupid but want to support me, please donate, and follow my fundraiser page today!! Follow along for updates and maybe even a cheeky giveaway to some people who donate….
Let’s make hope visible!!
