To provide free sport sessions for various groups; children with cancer, children and adults with disabilities and parents and carers

by Stuart McCulloch in Coventry, West Midlands, England

I am currently setting up a social enterprise which will provide free sport and exercise sessions for various groups that I believe would benefit greatly from getting involved. These groups would range from disabled children and adults, individuals suffering from mental health issues or long term illness as well as carers and parents of those affected.

The plan to start with will be providing sessions for;

- children with cancer

- parents/carers of children affected by disability or illness

- adults with mental health issues (such as anxiety or depression)

I will be arranging for appropriately qualified coaches to lead each session along with a team of volunteers. I will be working closely with existing charities to ensure the events are promoted to the relevant people who will benefit the most from them.

These events will be offered completely free to all taking part and the plan is for it to be paid for by sponsorship and fundraising between now and then.
