Consequently every effort is made to support those suffering the effects of a loved ones addiction. provides, therefore we also provide, family education/support groups and formal case conferences.
Why we need your help?
As with all charities and organisations the past twelve months has been very challenging and difficult for Cuan Mhuire Newry. This was not just financially, but the very worrying trend of substance abuse in Northern Ireland. This is of great concern not only to Cuan Mhuire but for the whole of our society. Our young people in particular need to be educated at every level about the dangers of alcohol, gambling and substance abuse.
"Sadly it is so widespread that it is very close to a different pandemic"!!
We are not only dealing with an increase in people needing our critical service but we are also dealing with the significant rise in the intense and complex support that is often required to help people deal with a range of health, social and economic challenges they face.
