Crossing the Road

Crossing the Road

To record our new song about crossing the road and film a funny but informative video to go with it.

We did it!

On 17th Dec 2017 we successfully raised £20 with 1 supporter in 56 days

Our song is in a 'Johnny Cash' style and covers all the important points to remember when crossing the road - from standing on the bobbly bits (tactile paving) to reaching the other side safely.  It was inspired by a drawing by Annie who is three.  She drew herself and family standing on  the bobbly bits waiting to cross the road.  So we workshopped the song in our regular Song Circle sessions (for pre schoolers) and now we want to record it, make a cool video to get the message out to kids everywhere.  That message is 'No matter how cool are (and who was cooler than Johnny Cash?) you still need to be careful crossing the road'      A strong message.  We will need a Johnny Cash lookalike and a cute kid to hold his hand!  This funding would let us get started and we will be eligible for match funding from some other road safety organisations, so please give just a little to get us going and help to share our story.
