Supporting vulnerable children in our community
We did it
On 1st June 2020 we successfully raised £210 with 10 supporters in 28 days

To support the most vulnerable and disadvantages children in our community, by providing basic resources needed to continue their education.

by Connie Rothman Learning Trust in Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom

At the Connie Rothman Learning Trust we work with some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in our community. We aim to create equal opportunities for all children to receive the highest quality, personalised learning support to fulfil their potential. We want to give all children the freedom to do remarkable things in their lives for themselves and others.

However, due to the Coronavirus we have had to close the learning centre where children come to receive their education. Our teaching staff have been able to create an online learning platform, meaning the children can continue receiving their education from home. However, due to the nature of many of the young people we support, a large percentage do not have computer access. Education for these children is more than learning, but provides stability and aids their mental wellbeing, so being able to continue deliver education to them is vitally important. Funds raised will be used to purchase much needed resources to enable the most vulnerable children in our community to continue their education at this difficult time.

Thank you in advance for any support!

We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see Crowdfunder's Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
