Creating a trans-troupe to perform at Sparkle 2020

I am looking to train a group of trans women with female partners and female friends to dance burlesque style routines at Sparkle 2020

by Viva L'Amour School Of Burlesque in Bildeston, England, United Kingdom

I teach weekly group burlesque fitness classes in Suffolk as well as month workshops for ladies over 18 regardless of age, size, shape, fitness and dance experience. I have been involved with the trans community for over 2 years having been introduced by my partner Vicki Kay but I have always been an ally of the LGBTQ+ community, because of my own sexuality and that of close family and friends. I present a twice monthly radio show on Felixstowe Radio with Vicki and hoping to be involved in arranging Suffolk Pride 2020. Having visited Sparkle in 2018, the weekend in July each year when Manchester hosts the trans community for their own festival, I decided I wanted to be involved in a future event.

I want to combine both of these interests by putting together a troupe of trans dancers, along with their female partners and female friends, to perform at Sparkle in 2020.

I have a venue willing to let me host training every 6-8 weeks but this doesn't come cheap and I want to keep the costs to a minimum for the ladies in the troupe - I am not looking to make any personal profit from this project - especially as it may involve travel and accommodation for ladies who do not live in the Suffolk/Essex area to be able to attend the training sessions. Any funds remaining will go towards costumes and props for the dancers.
