Project aim

The centre is for rescuing and rehoming reptiles and exotics and educating people more, if you google abandoned reptiles UK you will find a plethera of cases, Cowbrec can prevent many of these cases from even happening by providing sufficient information and ways to sustain owners interest in their pets. We aim to prevent abandonment by providing new owners with support they need for feeding, shedding issues, by helping with fears and uncertainties and by providing environment decorations to improve interest and keep owners engaged with the animal.

About the project

Cowbrec is a sole trading company and will operate a high street retail establishment based in Orpington as well as an online webstore that offers unique personalised products to improve and sustain relationships between pet and owner as well as being a pet store that additionally offers convenient and on request services and products. The business will be providing ‘holiday type’ temporary accommodation for pets of owners that are either taking holidays, visiting friends or family or even just want some time off from them. Cowbrec will also be offering aftercare programs that are aimed towards improving relationships by assisting and teaching how to deal with feeding, shedding issues, how to pick up and hold the animal correctly, exercising and all other problems. This is designed to help new pet owners with confidence and to stay engaged and not lose interest. The centre will be and already is home to many reptiles that are adopted through various circumstances, some quite awful and others through owners no longer having interest in them.
