My sister Jayme was 38 and full of life, she was a mum, sister, daughter, auntie and niece. In March 2016 our lives changed forever after she had a sudden cardiac arrest whilst shopping in Tesco. She sadly passed away in hospital a few weeks later.
Although she was given CPR by a passer by, there was no defibrillator on site or close by, which is why myself and my friend are wanting to raise funds for the Oliver king Foundation and complete the couch to 5k challenge with Active Sefton.
The Oliver king foundation provide training in defibrillator awareness and in first aid. To date they have placed 4,500 defibrillators in schools and organisations across the UK.
Myself and Anne will keep you posted on our journey to complete the challenge. The challenge is over 9-10 weeks and for any one that knows me and Anne will know this is a challenge.
Thank you in advance for your donations which will help save lives through the Oliver King Foundation.
