Cooper and Walsh

To raise £160,000 to make a DVD available to the Public featuring the two Policemen Cooper and Walsh from Last of the Summer Wine

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

Cooper and Walsh are attempting to raise at least £160,000 (hopefully £250,000) to make a new series featuring the two Policemen Cooper and Walsh from Last of the Summer Wine.

The two Actors Ken Kitson and Louis Emerick who played Cooper and Walsh did for many year bring to our televisions a great deal of laughter with their hapless approach to Police work, they avoided at all cost any real involvement and were often found asleep or cooking on a BBQ secreted in the boot of the police car.

After the BBC pulled the plug on Last of the Summer Wine talk of a spin off based around the policemen always seemed a great idea,so with funding the aim is to make three new episodes which will be filmed on location in Yorkshire, these three episodes will be available to purchases on DVD and planned to be released in 2015

The Main Actors

 Ken Kitson

Ken was PC Cooper in Last of the Summer Wine for 27 Years, he appeared in many other roles in TV and film including Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Heartbeat, Ruth Rendell, Brassed Off, Miss Marple, Minder, Danger UXB to name just a few.

When Ken explained to a friend about his idea of a Cooper and Walsh DVD his friend suggested he tried crowdfunder as a place to raise funds for the project.

Louis Emerick

Liverpool born Louis Emerick played PC Walsh in Last of the Summer Wine, and has  appeared in Brookside, Casualty, Holby City, Silent Witness, Doctors, New Tricks, Layer cake and many others. Louis is currently touring the UK with the stage show The Full Monty
