Whitegate CE primary school is a small village school of around 140 pupils. The school field is a short walk along a track which is crossed by a public footpath. This obviously poses a safe guarding risk and means that children needing the toilet have to be escorted back to the school by a member of staff. Which is not only time consuming but also labour intensive. If we could build a compostable toilet on the field the gate could be manned by one member of staff rather than having several making round trips back and to from school.
The company we would like to be using to source the compostable toilet from are Natsol https://natsol.co.uk/. From the research we have carried out their design would be the most suitable for the school as it is reasonably low maintenance compared to others we have seen.
This project is being run by the Friends of Whitegate School who are a small team of parents and teachers who work together to put on fun events for the children whilst raising much needed funds for the school.
At the end of the school year we will be holding a raffle with lots of voucher prizes inclucing, family tickets to Chester zoo, family tickets to vote took shore horse centre, £10 voucher for Bubbles play world, £50 Ocado voucher, £15 voucher for Cheshire ice cream farm, £10 voucher for Cheshire Crafts. Go karting voucher, paradise island free golf game
