I take my inspiration from science, nature, people, and personal experiences, and I feel it's my responsibility to give something back to the world. It's undeniable that if we are to survive, we need to work with the environment instead of against it. We need to stop using plastic, to invest in renewables, and implement alternatives to the livestock industry.
My music compositions are a way of abstracting and expressing environmental concerns, through the use of scientific data, sonification (turning data into music), and interactive electronic art installations.
I am hoping to raise enough money to join the Composing in the Wilderness project, in order to connect with nature, write music about it, and continue to use my music and art to help the environment in any way I can.
I hope one day I can fund projects which will give something back to the earth.
