Complex needs and cultural awareness through art

Complex needs and cultural awareness through art

Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

My aim is to bring awareness to specialist workshops and the benefit that will be raised working with children who really need it

I am a specialist artist and designer based in the North East of England and who works in many fields of genres and areas of arts and crafts. A big part of my work is to encourage workshops for all, in other words bring opportunities to those who are in the complex needs and cultural band and live in the UK. I only work alone at the moment and hope that my work will in turn benefit to others getting involved to assist, interact and more.

My vision is to get children (primary to secondary+ to engage in activities that will aid them to concentrate, motor skills and other cognitive benefits that this will bring, wityh the interaction and specialist skills that i can design and introduce will mean that creativity will be able to be brought back and be done in a way to work with technology instead of just with it and going back to getting a real understanding for what these children really need in terms of interaction and development for there future.

The Cultural element will be to make awareness, support and help through arts, crafts and traditional values and work involved in their culture to be supported and understood.

The money will be used to create and develop on my already start in workshops, so I can get transport, supplies and contacts and possible assistance to build the business.
