We are a group of dedicated volunteers who have come together and created Londons Community Kitchen. We currently support over 10,000 people a week since the beginning of the pandemic. Our reach has grown and the need has increased. We run food projects across the London on different days. In Wembley alone we serve 1100 people in two hours. These communities have hit rock bottom and are finding themselves in conditions unknown to Londoners prior to the pandemic. Many of these communities have fallen through the gap and have access to little or no public funds. We see children lining up to access food who wait patiently for hours in freezing temperatures at times.
We need your support to continue the projects and to setup a community store, where residents can access free food, clothes and other repurposed materials.
Open our Community Cafe to create a safe space for the community, both young and old, including BAME communities. Inviting people facing food poverty to have access to free or affordable meals.
We have space which will be used for youth and children for sports activities, whose otherwise would be unable to access leisure centres to financial restraints.
We are volunteer run and all funds go back into the project entirely.
